Section 26(2) in The U.P. Judicial Service Rules, 2001
(2)After coming into force of these rules, the inter se seniority of the officers appointed under these rules, shall be determined on the basis of the year of recruitment and position of merit as shown in the list prepared and forwarded for appointment under sub-rule (3) of Rule 20.
