Section 1(2) in The Jammu and Kashmir Cinematograph Act, 1989
(2)[The government] [In sections 1(2), 4 and 8 the words 'the Government' substituted for the words 'His Higgness the Maharaja Bahadur' by Act X of 1966.] may, by notification in the Jammu and Kashmir Government Gazette, direct that the whole or any of its provisions shall not apply to any local area within the State.
