Superintendent of Port Police to act under control of Commissioner of Police.- The Superintendent of Port Police shall, in all matters connected with the prevention of crime, and the detection, apprehension and detection of offenders in order to their being brought before a Magistrate, and the preservation of the public peace, act under the direct control of the Commissioner of Police for Calcutta.
