Section 120(1) in Nagpur Improvement Trust Act, 1936
(1)If, on account of any act or omission any person has been convicted of an offence under this Act, and by reason of such act or omission damage has been caused to any property of the Trust, compensation shall be paid by the said person for the said damage notwithstanding any punishment to which he may have been sentenced for such offence.
