                                       ORDER

1. The appellant, Shri Devvrat Sil submitted RTI application before the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Central Water Commission, Asansol seeking the names of persons who were deputed to make payments of bills to Shri S.K. Rajan, Superentending Engineer, Maithan during the period 1.8.2013 to 26.06.2015, the expenditure incurred on speed post, registry, ordinary letters for correspondence with CWC Maithan etc. through two points.

2. The CPIO vide letter dated 7.8.2015 informed that Shri S.K. Rajan's bills were paid under the signatures of the officiating Executive Engineer and no officials' name was available in record. Dissatisfied, the appellant approached the CIC/BS/A/2016/001272/MP 1 First Appellate Authority (FAA) who held that the information sought by the appellant may be available in the Acquittance Rolls and directed the CPIO to segregate the Acquittance Rolls between 1.8.2013 to 26.6.2015 in which Shri S.K. Ranaj's name appeared and provide it to the appellant on payment of Rs. 2/- per page along with the name of the persons assigned the duty of handing over payment to Shri S.K. Rajan. The CPIO later informed the appellant Rs. 52/- was to be paid for 26 pages. The CPIO vide letter dated 17.12.2015 provided photocopies of all the acquittance rolls between 1.8.2013 to 26.6.2015 in which the name of Shri S.K. Rajan had appeared on receipt of the requisite fee.

3. On perusing the records, the Commission observed that the appellant's identical RTI application dated 03.08.2015 had been decided by the Commission in case No. CIC/BS/A/2016/000258/MP vide order dated 27.03.2017. No action in the instant appeal is called for on the part of the Commission.
