05. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Petitioner is present in person through Virtual Mode.
3. Heard.
4. Learned counsel for the Bank submits that the Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. is a necessary party, who has repudiated the insurance claim of the present Petitioner on account of delay.
5. Let the Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd be made a party to this case in order to assist the Court. Accordingly, the Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. be made a party and notice be issued in the following address: 2
"Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd., House No.641, 2nd Floor, Gugnani Heights, Goutam Nagar, Lewis Road, Bhubaneswar- 751014"
6. Since the Petitioner is unable to stand or do anything because of the severity of the accident, Registry is directed to issue notice through Speed Post to the Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd exempting the Petitioner to file requisite.
7. A copy of the Writ Petition along with this order be sent by the Registry to the said Insurance Company to appear before this Court on 24th January, 2024.
8. List this matter on 24th January, 2024.
