72. Apportionment of rent.
- If the tenant is to be ejected from only a portion of his holding, the Assistant Collector shall determine the rent payable by the tenant for the remaining land. The rent so payable shall bear the same proportion to the rent previously payable for the whole holding as the valuation of the remaining land in the possession of the tenant bears to the total area of the holding.
