(3)[ If the Vice-Chancellor is unable to perform his duties owing to his temporary incapacity on account of illness or any other reason or the office of the Vice-Chancellor falls vacant due to death or otherwise, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall perform the duties of the Vice-Chancellor until the existing Vice-Chancellor is able to resume his office or until a regular Vice-Chancellor is appointed, as the case may be. In the absence of both Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor, the Chancellor shall make such arrangements for the duties of the Vice-Chancellor to be performed by some authority until Vice-Chancellor or Pro Vice-Chancellor joins.] [Substituted by Haryana Act 14 of 1994.]
