Section 3(2)(i) in The Karnataka State Universities Act, 2000

(i)The Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and the members of the Academic Council and Syndicate of each University shall constitute a body corporate to be called by the name of that University specified in sub-section (1).
