Section 20 in Karnataka Universities of Agricultural Sciences Act, 1963
20. The Director of Extension.
(1)The Director of Extension shall be a whole time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board. He shall be responsible for planning and execution of programmes of extension work based on the results of research work and shall perform such other functions as may be prescribed.(2)The salary and allowances and other conditions of service of the Director of Extension shall be such as may be prescribed.
