Section 51 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Irrigation Act, 1973
51. Rate and period of irrigation cess.
(1)The irrigation cess payable in respect of any land under the irrigable command of a canal shall be at such rates of such period as may be fixed by the Government by notification in the Official Gazette.(2)The determination of such rates and period shall be final and shall not be questioned in any court:Provided that no increase shall be made during such period in the rates so fixed.
