Section 77(1) in The Orissa Municipal Employees' Pension Rules, 1989
(1)All authorities dealing with applications for pension under these rules should bear in mind that delay in their payment involves pecuniary hardship. It is essential to ensure, therefore, that an employee or his beneficiaries begin to receive pension on the date on which it becomes due.
