WRIT PETITION No.11059 OF 2025
ORDER :(ORAL) This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of respondent No.5 - the Superintendent Engineer, Serilingampally Zone, GHMC, in not receiving its tender bid applications for engaging Entomology Field Assistants (EFA) and Entomology Supervisor, Field Worker (ESFW/FW) on outsourcing basis in Patancheruvu Circle-22, Serilingampally Zone, GHMC for the period of one (1) year from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026; and the action of respondent No.6 - the Superintendent Engineer, Kukatpally Zone, GHMC, in not receiving its application for providing services of Entomology Field Assistants and Superior Field Workers and Field Workers from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026, in Moosapet Circle-23, Kukatpally Zone, GHMC, for want of payment of EMD (Earnest Money Deposit), as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.
2. Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for respondents No.2 to 5, submitted that corrigendum has been issued to the effect that agencies who have exemption of EMD, like MS & ME, NSIC and SSI, can upload the registered documents by duly selecting 2 BG option without paying any EMD amount. Learned Standing Counsel further submitted that the time for uploading the registered documents is also extended till 18.04.2025 and the petitioner would not have any difficulty in uploading the documents subject to production of exemption certificate issued by the aforesaid authorities.
3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition, stand closed.
