Section 21 in The U.P. Excise (Prohibition) Group 'D' Service Rules, 1978

21. Scales of pay.

(1)The scales of pay admissible to persons appointed to the posts included in the cadre of the Service, whether in a substantive or officiating capacity or as a temporary measure, shall be such as may be determined by the Government from time to time.

(2)The scales of pay in force at the commencement of these rules are given below :
