% 26.02.2020 The petitioner has prayed for parole for four weeks on the ground that he has to look after his old aged mother and to maintain social ties.

Nominal roll of the petitioner filed.

Status report dated 25th February, 2020 filed. Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for respondent/State submits that he has no objection if the parole of the petitioner is allowed.

In view of above, this petition is allowed and in the interest of justice, petitioner is granted four weeks' parole from the date of his release to enable him to take care of his old aged mother and to maintain social ties, on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent, subject to the following conditions:

i) The petitioner shall provide his mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working conditions at all the times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent;
ii) The petitioner shall report at the local police station to mark his attendance on every alternate day at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole;
iii) The petitioner shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; and
iv) The petitioner shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent. The petition and application stand disposed of.
