Section 6(2) in Punjab Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1972
(2)In the case of death (not falling under clause (a) to (e) of sub- section (1) of section 8) in which an inquest is held the officer who conducts the inquest shall give or cause to be given the information under sub-section (1) of section 8.
