20. Constitution of the Executive Council.
- The Executive Council shall consists of:-| 1 | The Chief Secretary, Government of Assam | :Chairman; |
| 2 | Senior most Secretary of Higher EducationDepartment, Government of Assam | : Vice Chairman; |
| 3 | The Director of the Council | : Member; Secretary; |
| 4 | Secretary to the Government of Assam(Higher/Technical) Education | : Member; |
| 5 | The Chief Engineer, P.W.D.(Building),Assam | : Member; |
| 6 | Director of Higher Education, Assam | : Member; |
| 7 | Director of Technical Education, Assam | : Member; |
| 8 | Director of Medical Education, Assam | : Member; |
| 9 | Director, Secondary Education, Assam | : Member; |
| 10 | Director, Elementary Education, Assam | : Member; |
| 11 | Four academicians of repute to be nominatedfora period of three years by Government | : Member; |
| 12 | One of the Joint Secretary /Deputy Secretary /Under Secretary, Education Department,Government of Assam | : Member; |
