Section 126C in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
126C. Levy of cess on water rate. - The State Government may levy a cess not exceeding twenty paise on every rupee of water-rate leviable under the provisions of the Bombay Irrigation Act, 1879 (Bombay VII of 1879), in respect of lands situated within the limits of a City.
