2. Re-enactment of West Bengal Act 2 of 1948.
- The West Bengal Land (Requisition and Acquisition)Act, 1948, as in force on the 31st day of March, 1977 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act,) is hereby re-enacted subject to the modification that for sub-section (4) of section 1, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:-"(4) It shall remain in force until the 31st day of March, 1979.".
