Section 10(1) in Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (Establishment of Forum for Redressal of Grievances of the Consumers) Regulations, 2004
(1)The Court, when making an inquiry under section 8 and any person making an investigation under section 9 shall have respectively for the purposes of such inquiry or investigation, the powers vested in a Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, (V of 1908) in respect of the following matters namely :(a)enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath or affirmation;(b)compelling the production of documents or material objects;(c)issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses;(d)taking or receiving evidence on affidavits.
