30. Capacity Utilisation Factor
.-Capacity Utilisation factor for the small hydro projects located in Himanchal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and North Eastern States shall be 45% and for other States, CUF shall be 30%.Explanation.-For the purpose of this regulation normative CUF is net of free power to the home state if any, and any quantum of free power if committed by the developer over and above the normative CUF shall not be factored into the tariff.
