Section 23(1) in U.P. Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1975
(1)On receipt of the application, and as soon as possible thereafter, the Licensing Officer shall make such enquiry as he considers, necessary to satisfy himself about the eligibility of the applicant for a licence.
