JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (Oral)

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as her family members as the petitioner and her family members are being threatened by private respondents herein to withdraw case FIR No. 99 dated 23.06.2017, registered under Section 8 of the POCSO Act at Women Police Station, Faridabad.

At the very outset, counsel for the respondent-State submits that this petition has been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that the FIR in question itself stands quashed by an order dated 07.03.2018, passed by this Court in CRM-M-2393-2018, on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties.

In view of above, no further orders are called for in this petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous accordingly.
