320. When jail appeal is presented beyond time.
- Where a jail appeal is presented after the expiry of the period of limitation, the officer-in-charge of the jail shall submit along with it a report as to the cause of delay. Where no such report has been submitted, a report shall be called for from the jail concerned as to the cause of delay. Such report shall be laid before the Judge to whom the appeal is submitted for orders.
