Section 20 in The U.P. Participatory Irrigation Management Act, 2009
20. Installation of measuring device.
- The competent canal officer shall provide and maintain a measuring device for volumetric measurement of water at the point of supply to water users' associations as prescribed and also determine the water carrying capacity every year for every season considering practical situation and directives issued by State Government.
