This contempt petition is filed for non compliance of the order dated 19.4.2012 passed in W.P.No.10716 of 2012. This Court passed an order and directed the respondent to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.216 Finance (Pay Commission) Department, dated 22.3.1993.
2. In this regard, the learned Special Government Pleader, brought to the notice of this Court that a Full Bench of this Court passed final orders on 9.12.2016 in Review Application No.227 of 2015 in W.A.No.352 of 2014. As per the said order, the claim of the petitioner to extend the benefit of the G.O.Ms.No.216 Finance (Pay Commission) Department, dated 22.3.1993, shall be considered, provided that the writ petition is filed on or before 09.12.2016. Thus, the learned Special Government Pleader, states that already the Government started implementing the said order in respect of batch of writ petitions.
3.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
