Section 41(1) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Act, 1983
(1)The Executive Council shall have the power to recognize any institution of research or specialized studies under the management of any authority other than the University as recognized institution for the purpose of providing means of instruction and research to meet partially the requirements of the University for advanced degrees.
