PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for
issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining
to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in
C.No.10/E7PS/Ndisc/2023, dated 31.07.2023 and quash the same as illegal and
consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Adal
Padal Dance Programme schedule to be held on 08.08.023 in the eve of
Arulmigu “Sri Poovayee Amman Temple” Muppusai festival at Perur Village,
Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER
This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to permit the petitioner to conduct Aadal Padal programme on 08.08.023 in the eve of Arulmigu “Sri Poovayee Amman Temple” Muppusai festival at Perur Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Adal Padal programme is being conducted every year without any untoward incidents.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on consulting with the respondent Police submitted that if fresh application is filed by the petitioner before the respondent Police and the same will be considered and the respondent Police have no objections.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent police and file fresh application, on which, the respondent police are directed to consider the same, subject to law and order https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/4 W.P.(MD)No.18894 of 2023 problems and grant permission as per the guidelines of the police vide proceedings in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019.
