The District Registrar's nomination with the accompanying applications and certificates shall be forwarded to Government by the Permanent Committee with their remarks and recommendations. Should the nomination of the District Registrar be disapproved, the District Registrar may be requested to submit a fresh nomination, or the Permanent Committee may select any other candidate. For this purpose a list of candidates willing to serve as Muhammadan Registrars in any district to which they may be appointed shall be kept in the office of the Inspector-General of Registration.
