Section 101(1) in The Daman And Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012
(1)There shall be an authority for Gram Panchayats and District Panchayats known as "Ombudsman" for conducting investigations and enquiries, in respect of any action involving corruption or maladministration or irregularities in the discharge of administrative functions by Panchayats and public servants working for them.
