Section 1 in The Uttarakhand Water Tax on Electricity Generation Act, 2012
1. Short Title, Extent and Commencement.
- This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Water Tax on Electricity Generation Act, 20l2.(2)It extends to the whole State of Uttarakhand.(3)It shall come into force from such date as the State Government may by notification in the Gazette appoint.(4)The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent contained in any other law for the time being in force.
