Section 12(1) in The U.P. Agricultural Credit Rules, 1975
(1)Where any charge has been created on any movable property or the crop, or other produce in favour of a Bank in respect of any financial assistance granted to an agriculturist, and the whole or any part of the amount due in respect thereof remains unpaid, the Bank may apply to Tahsildar having jurisdiction, for distraint and sale of such property, crop or other produce.
