Section 32(2) in The Calcutta Improvement Act, 1911
(2)[ Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the State Government shall have power to appoint any person who is or has been in the service of the State Government to any post of the Board carrying a monthly salary exceeding one thousand and five hundred rupees] [Proviso and sub-section (2) added by W.B. Act 42 of 1983.]:Provided that the person so appointed shall be under the administrative control of the Chairman.
