Section 213(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)The Council may, if it thinks fit, cause any work, the execution of which may be ordered by or on behalf of the Council under any of the foregoing provisions of this Chapter, to be executed by municipal or other agency under its own orders, without first of all giving person by whom the same would otherwise have to be executed the option of doing the same.
