Section 18(3) in Tamil Nadu Groundwater (Development and Management) Act, 2003
(3)The power conferred under clause (a) of sub-section (1) shall include the power to break open the door of any premises where such sinking, extraction or use of groundwater is going on:Provided that such power to break open the door shall be exercised only if the owner or the person in occupation of the property, refuses to comply with the notice of directions of the Authority on being called upon to do so.
