3. The petitioner, who had applied for the NEET (UG) examination on 19.07.2021 as a general category candidate has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to change her category from general category to OBC. It is the petitioner's case that she belongs to the Viswabrahmin committee which has been recognised as Other Backward Class (OBC) and has been issued the OBC certificate by the revenue department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi only on 04.01.2022 and is therefore entitled to seek change of her category in accordance Signature Not Verified Signed By:GARIMA MADAN Location: Signing Date:25.01.2022 14:21:17 with the recent notice issued by the respondents permitting candidates to change their category.
