Section 27(1) in Wild Life (Protection) Punjab Rules, 1975
(1)Within three months from the declaration of an area as a Sanctuary or National Park, or in the case of Sanctuary or National Park existing at the commencement of these rules, within three months of such commencement every person residing within ten kilometers of such Sanctuary or National Park and holding a licence granted under the Arms Act, 1959 (Central Act 54 of 1959), or exempted from the provisions of that Act and possessing Arms, shall apply in Form No. 8 to the Officer Incharge of the Sanctuary or National Park for the registration of his name.
