1. Learned counsel for the respondent No.1- Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation submitted that though time was granted by this Court to file affidavit-in-reply and it was extended by an order dated 2/3 Shubhada S Kadam 9 wp 4079.21.doc 12th August, 2021, reply could not be filed considering the fact that there are large number of petitioners involved in the group of petitions and it would require some time for the respondent - Corporation to verify the details of all these petitioners. Thus, learned counsel for respondent No.1 prayed for an adjournment as a last chance. Accordingly, three weeks' time is granted at the request of learned counsel for respondent No.1 as a last chance to file reply. Respondent No.2-State of Maharashtra may also file reply, if they so desire, within three weeks from today. Needless to say that the parties to exchange replies before the next date.
2. Mr. Desai, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that writ petition stamp Nos. 10870 and 14971 of 2021 are also on the same subject matter and these petitions be tagged along with the present petitions. Mr. Desai, learned counsel for the petitioners, undertakes to supply copy of these petitions to learned counsel as well as learned AGP appearing for the respective respondents. Thus, the said two petitions be tagged along with the present petitions. Post all the petitions for consideration on 27th September, 2021.
5. The interim order, granted earlier, shall continue to remain in operation till next date.
