Section 71(1) in The Maharashtra Specified Co-operative Societies Elections to Committees Rules, 1971
(1)The packets referred to in Rule 70 shall be retained for a period of one year and shall thereafter be destroyed subject to any direction to the contrary given by the Commissioner or a Court or other competent authority.
