Section 134 in Tamil Nadu Educational Inspection Code
134. Endorsement of District Educational Officers and Inspectresses.
- These are to be made only when necessary by way of adverse comment upon the award of school marks, e.g. that they are based entirely upon formal written examinations. The same endorsement should consequently appear on the certificates of all the pupils of a school or of a form in a school. Since officers are not in a position to check effectively all the certificates in a school with a view to deciding on the relative value of marking in each endorsement on individual certificates are as a rule inadmissible.
