Section 14(1) in The Orissa Standard of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1993
(1)Every weight or measure used or intended to be used in any transaction or for industrial production or for protection shall be verified or reverified once in 12 months :Provided that storage tanks including vats shall be re-verified or re-calibrated and stamped at least once in a period of five years.
