In this Writ Petition filed in the nature of Public Interest Litigation under Article 32 of the Constitution of India, the principal grievance raised is with regard to safety of children at unmanned railway Signature Not Verified crossings. The petitioner although has Digitally signed by Rajesh Dham referred to certain train and road accidents in which Date: 2014.09.20 11:43:28 IST Reason:

school children are reported to have been killed, but the Writ Petition suffers from proper drafting. The 2 existing pleadings do not make cohesive reading. Since the issue raised in the Writ Petition relates to accidents at unmanned railway crossings resulting in death of young children, we are of the view that the matter may require consideration after appropriate amendments are made in the Writ Petition.
We request Mr. Dinesh Dwivedi, learned senior counsel, to assist the Court in the matter as Writ Petition has been filed in-person. He has agreed for that. Since the pleadings in the Writ Petition need to be amended, we request Mr. K.K. Mohan, advocate-on-record to assist the Court as an advocate-on-record.
A copy of the Writ Petition may be given by the Registry to Mr. K.K. Mohan, advocate-on-record. Necessary amendments in the Writ Petition may be made within three weeks.
In view of the above, permission to appear and argue in-person is rejected.
List the matter after three weeks.
