Section 12(2)(a) in The Punjab Probation of Offenders Rules, 1962

(a)Every Probation officer shall be furnished with an Identity Card in Form I which shall be used only when necessary and shall be returned to the Chief Probation Officer on suspension or termination of his appointment.
