Section 511(2) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(2)If, as a result of any inspection under sub-section (1), any prosecution is instituted under the Chapter, the burden of proving that any such animal was not exposed or hawked about or deposited in or brought to any place for sale or preparation for sale or was not intended for human consumption shall rest with the person prosecuted.
