(1)Where in any municipal area any building or part of a building is intended to be let and in which any person has, within six weeks immediately preceding, been suffering from a dangerous disease, the person letting the building or part thereof shall, before doing so, disinfect the same together with all articles therein liable to retain infection in such manner, as the Chief Officer of the Municipality may by general or special notice direct.
