Section 8(4) in The Assam Embankment and Drainage Act, 1953
(4)The Deputy Commissioner or the person so authorised by the State Government under sub-section (2), as the case may be, shall at the time of holding the enquiry, obtain the advice of the Embankment Officer on technical points.
