Section 6 in Delhi Development Authority, Dy. Director Recruitment Regulations, 1998

6. Saving.

- Nothing in these Regulations shall effect reservations, relaxation of age limit or other concessions required to be provided for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.Recruitment Regulations for the Post of Deputy Director in Delhi Development Authority
1. Name of post : Deputy Director
2. No. of posts : *41*subject to variation dependent on work load.
3. Classification : Group "A".
4. Scale of pay : Rs. 3000-100-3500-125-4500 (Pre-revised).
5. Whether selection post or non-selection post. : Selection.
6. (a) Age limit for direct recruitment : Not applicable.
  (b) Whether benefit of any added years of service admissibleunder Rule 30 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972. : Not applicable.
7. Educational and other qualifications required for directrecruits. : Not applicable.
8. Whether age and educational qualifications prescribed for thedirect recruits will apply in the case of promotees anddeputationists. : Not applicable,
9. Period of probation, if any. : 2 Years.
10. Method of recruitment, whether by direct recruitment or bypromotion or transfer or by deputation and percentage of thevacancies to be filled by various methods. : (i) 75% of the posts by promotion failing which by deputation.(ii) 25% of the posts by deputation,
11. In case of recruitment by promotion/ transfer/ deputation,grades from which promotion/ transfer/ deputation is to be made. : Promotion will be made from the cadres of Asstt.Directors/ Asstt. settlement Officers and Private Secretaries inthe ratio of 4:1. In other words out of 5 promotional posts ofD.D., four will be available to A.D. 's and A.S.O.'s takentogether and one to Private Secretaries. A minimum of five yearsregular service in the feeder cadre would be necessary forpromotion.
      Deputation
      From State Civil Service Officers with at least six years ofservice.
12. If a DPC exists what is its composition. : Group 'A' DPC.
13. Saving. : Nothing in these regulations shall effectreservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessionsrequired to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the ScheduledTribes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons inaccordance with the orders issued by the Central Govt./DelhiDevelopment Authority from time to time in this regard.
14. Disqualification. : No person who has entered into or contracted a second marriagewhen his/her spouse is alive.
15. Power to relax. : When the Chairman is of the opinion that it isnecessary or expedient so to do, he may by order, for reasons tobe recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of thoseregulations in respect of any class or category or persons orposts.
