Section 280(2) in The City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002
(2)When any public street or part thereof is permanently closed under sub-section (1), the site of such street, or of the part thereof which has been closed, may be disposed of, subject to the provisions of section 75, as land belonging to the Corporation:Provided that nothing herein contained shall be interpreted to mean any restrictions on the power of the Commissioner to permit or order a temporary closure of a street.
