Section 178 in The Border Security Force Rules, 1969
178. Authority prescribed for the purposes of section 13(1)
.-The authority for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 13 shall be-(i)Commandant, in respect of person under his command;(ii)Deputy Inspector-General, in respect of a Commandant;(iii)Inspector-General, in respect of a Deputy Inspector-General;(iv)Director-General, in respect of all persons subject to the Act.
