Section 55 in The Punjab Homeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965
55. Rules and regulations to be laid before State Legislature.
- Every rule made under section 53 and every regulation made under section 54 shall be laid as soon as may be after it is made before [-] [See the Adaptation of Laws Order 1968.] the Legislature while it is in session for total period of ten days which may comprise in one session or in two successive sessions, and if before the expiry of the sessions in which it is so laid or the session immediately following [The Legislative Assembly] [Substituted for the words 'both Houses' by Adoption of Laws Order, 1968.] agree in making any modification in the rule or regulation, as the case may be, or [The Legislative Assembly] [Substituted for the words 'both Houses' by ibid.] agree that such rule or regulation should not be made, the rule or regulation shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no affect as the case may be so however that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule or regulation.
